Bosch Siemens Warehouse

STATUS

Constructed

PROJECT SIZE

8,000 m2

The Bosch and Siemens warehouse and logistics operations in Çerkezköy are part of the much larger BSH Ev Aletleriproduction campus—one of the most significant industrial complexes in Turkey and the largest manufacturing hub of the group globally. Located in Tekirdağ, the campus extends over approximately 550,000 m² and integrates multiple factories, R&D facilities, offices, and a highly developed logistics infrastructure. Within this ecosystem, the warehouse functions are not isolated buildings but are embedded in a centralized logistics system that supports the production and global distribution of Bosch, Siemens, Gaggenau, and Profilo branded appliances.

The warehouse is tightly synchronized with production lines and export operations.  Given that the Çerkezköy campus produces millions of units annually for over 150 countries, the warehouse operates as a high-capacity distribution node rather than a conventional storage facility.

Enlargement of an existing warehouse used for storing domestic appliances were requested. Fire safety, functionality, accessibility and insurance criteria were of primary concern besides design and permit requirements. Rather than iconic architectural expression, the focus is on large-span industrial structures, optimized circulation routes, and integration with loading docks and transportation networks. This building is a part of a complex working system of movement and storage of goods through a network of truck and railways.
